Dump Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport and deliver materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, or other bulk freight to various job sites and disposal locations. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries. Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks with manual transmission or tractor-trailer configurations to transport bulk materials across designated routes.
• Load and unload materials efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks.
• Ensure all freight is secured properly before transit and verify load accuracy against delivery documentation.
• Follow planned routes diligently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure timely deliveries.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience driving dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or roll-off trucks in a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Prior delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures in various environments.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for dump trucks or tanker vehicles preferred.
