Duties

• Safely operate dump trucks, including manual transmission models, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load, unload, and secure freight such as debris, gravel
• Drive route-specific deliveries using flatbed, refrige
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify truck condition and report any maintenance needs promptly
• Follow all safety protocols during loading/unloading processes and while on the road to prevent accidents or injuries

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, especially with commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks
• Strong knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures within various terrains and environments
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to transportation regulations
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel
