Dunkin Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Dunkin' Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and food items in a fast-paced café environment. This role requires a positive attitude, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to company standards
• Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales transactions
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
• Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing tills at shift end
• Follow food safety protocols during food handling, preparation, and serving to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
• Engage with customers to promote products and enhance their overall experience

Requirements

• Previous barista or food service experience preferred; coffee experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and retail math accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
