Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager with a strong Front Office background to oversee daily hotel operations, ensure exceptional guest experience, and support departmental coordination. The ideal candidate will act as the management representative during assigned shifts and handle operational and guest-related matters professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Front Office operations during assigned shifts (Reception, Concierge, Guest Services)
- Act as the point of contact for guests and handle complaints or escalations effectively
- Ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes and high service standards
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Security, F&B, and Maintenance as required
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, and grooming standards
- Prepare shift reports and log operational incidents
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety, and service standards
- Support emergency handling and decision-making when required
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in Front Office operations
- Previous experience as Duty Manager / Assistant Front Office Manager preferred
- Strong knowledge of PMS systems (Opera or similar)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong problem-solving and guest service orientation
