Duty Medical Officer

India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate medical attention to patients arriving at the hospital, including emergency cases.
  • Conduct preliminary examinations, diagnose conditions, and administer necessary treatments or procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior doctors, consultants, and specialists to ensure proper patient care and treatment.
  • Monitor patient progress and update medical records regularly.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and take appropriate action to stabilize patients.
  • Oversee the smooth functioning of the hospital wards, ICUs, and emergency rooms during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of clinical activities and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
  • Guide and supervise nursing staff and other healthcare professionals during your shift.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and updates.
  • Comply with hospital protocols, policies, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Qualification: Form D from a recognized medical college .
  • Experience: Min 1 year of experience as a Duty Medical Officer or equivalent role in a hospital setting.
  • Skills Required:
  • Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using hospital management systems and maintaining records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
