Job Title: Duty Nurse

Job summary:

The Duty Nurse is responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients in the IVF unit by assisting doctors during procedures, monitoring patient health, administering medications, maintaining records, and ensuring patient safety, hygiene, and compassionate care in coordination with the medical team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in IVF, OPD, OT, and ward as per duty roster
• Assist doctors during procedures like IUI, IVF, ET, OPU, scans, etc.
• Monitor patient vitals, reports, and post-procedure recovery
• Administer injections, IV fluids, and medications as prescribed
• Maintain nursing records, consent forms, and patient charts
• Counsel patients regarding procedures, medications, and care instructions
• Ensure infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
• Coordinate with lab, OT, pharmacy, and front office teams
• Handle emergency situations and report immediately to doctors
• Maintain discipline, confidentiality, and compassionate patient care

Qualification:

• GNM / ANM, B.Sc Nursing

Experience:

• 0–3 years (IVF / Hospital experience preferred)
