Roles, Responsibilities, Duties:

  • To be responsible for the Health and Safety of all visitors, contractors, guests, etc. whilst on shift
  • To complete Venue, Equipment, and Maintenance Performance Check Sheets.
  • To ensure adequate supervision and control of all staff working whilst on shift, including assisting the Venue’s Management with recruitment and induction, allocation and delegation of workload, and advising on conduct and disciplinary matters.
  • To prepare staff rotas, ensuring sufficient cover is always maintained. To participate in the rota, including weekends, evenings, early mornings, late finishing, and possible overnight shifts.
  • To process payments via credit cards and petty cash, including reconciling the till on a shift / daily basis.
  • To keep an accurate stock of supplies and to raise and follow up on purchase orders when required.
  • To assist Venue Management with monitoring performance against agreed budgets.
  • To assist the Venue Management with maintaining all information systems and records appropriate to the management of the Venue whilst conforming to the IT policy.
  • To assist the Venue Management with ensuring effective and efficient day-to-day management of the site, adhering to Operation Procedures, Emergency Plans, and the Quality Management System, including supervising the Venue’s tenants (i.e., retail, catering, and merchandise operations).
  • To assist the Venue Management with developing, managing, and promoting the venue and
  • associated facilities in providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for all visitors, following the venue’s objectives.
  • To ensure that the venue’s buildings, grounds, athletic disciplines, and all areas of the site are maintained to standards and in compliance.
  • To maintain indoor/outdoor equipment and plants in good working order, as well as adequate
  • supplies to guarantee the uninterrupted provision of service.
  • To contribute to the preparation and consequent implementation of agreed development/business, management, and marketing plans for the Venue.
  • As a key holder, respond to emergency/security callouts at any time outside normal working hours.
