Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Administrator


Job Summary:

The D365 F&O Administrator will manage and support the organization’s Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment. The role involves overseeing daily system administration, supporting business users, coordinating with partners and Microsoft, and ensuring smooth execution of business processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary system administrator for the D365 F&O environment, ensuring system stability and availability for retail and production operations.
  • Manage user security, roles, and permissions while maintaining compliance with internal controls.
  • Monitor system performance, integrations, and batch jobs, addressing issues proactively.
  • Provide functional support to finance, supply chain, retail, production, and HR teams.
  • Work with external implementation partners to manage patches, upgrades, and issue escalations.
  • Support data management activities, including data migration, imports, exports, and periodic clean-ups.
  • Assist in testing and validating new functionalities, modules, and customizations during upgrades or rollouts.
  • Document configurations, workflows, and key processes for internal knowledge management.
  • Deliver training and ongoing support to end-users, promoting system adoption and process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process optimization and system enhancements.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience with D365 Finance & Operations administration.
  • Proven participation in at least two end-to-end D365 F&O implementations (preferably covering both retail and production modules).
  • Strong knowledge of core D365 modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, Retail, and Production Control .
  • Proficiency with LCS (Lifecycle Services) , Data Management Framework , and basic troubleshooting of integrations.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and external partners.
