Role Overview


As a Dynamics 365 CRM Tester (Quality Engineer) at Accenture, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions. You will be responsible for comprehensive testing, defect management, and continuous improvement of QA processes. Collaborating closely with developers and functional consultants, you will validate functional and non-functional requirements, support automation initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with Microsoft best practices.


Key Responsibilities


1. Testing

  • Create, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for Dynamics 365 CE applications, including Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing modules.

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure solution quality.

  • Validate CRM customizations, such as Plugins, Workflows, PCF controls, and Power Platform components.

2. Defect Management

  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Azure DevOps or similar platforms.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues.

3. Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards through rigorous testing and validation processes.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective to improve overall solution quality.

4. Automation

  • Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, EasyRepro, or custom frameworks.

  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline delivery processes.

5. Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, defect reports, and test results to ensure traceability and knowledge sharing.


  • Experience:

    • 5–8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years focused on Dynamics 365 CE.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.

    • Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE modules, including Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing.

    • Proficiency in automated testing tools, such as LeapWork, Selenium, or EasyRepro.

    • Experience using SQL for database validation and testing.

    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Azure DevOps Test Plans.

    • Experience using M365 CoPilot for test case generation.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in performance testing and API testing.

  • Knowledge of Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Exposure to Copilot and AI-driven CRM features.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate

  • ISTQB Certified Tester
