About the Role:
The State of Mississippi, Department of Banking and Consumer Finance (DBCF) is seeking a highly skilled Dynamics Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is primarily remote, but occasional onsite work in Jackson, MS will be required. Travel expenses for onsite visits will be reimbursed. The contractor will work closely with the team to support existing applications and receive knowledge transfer from an outgoing contractor.

Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200)
Primary Skills: Power BI, Azure, Power Automate, Dynamics or other SAS language, C#

Responsibilities:
Design, build, test, implement, maintain, and upgrade agency programs and applications
- Write and maintain plugins and custom JavaScript to extend Power Platform functionality
Analyze, research, and evaluate existing applications
Code, test, and debug applications
Provide end-user support for mission-critical applications and databases
Perform functional analysis and document system requirements
Provide training and assistance with applications
Manage permission requests to various software systems
Participate in system upgrades and troubleshoot off-application issues
Develop reports and interfaces
Requirements:
Minimum 6+ years of experience with:
C#
- Azure as a Service
Power BI
Azure DevOps Strong knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, and model-driven app configuration
Proficiency in Dynamics or other SAS languages
Previous experience mentoring other developers
Ability to quickly absorb knowledge and hit the ground running
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200)
- Microsoft Git experience
Familiarity with Azure services and other Microsoft technologies
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Primary Skills: Power BI, Azure, Power Automate, Dynamics or other SAS language, C#
