Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled ECAD Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing electronic circuit layouts and PCB designs using ECAD tools. You will work closely with electrical engineers to translate schematic diagrams into detailed PCB layouts that meet technical requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications:

Demonstrated expertise as an ECAD Designer or in a related electronic design role.

Skilled in using ECAD software such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics, with deep knowledge of their advanced features. (Cadence preferred)

Minimum of seven years of hands-on experience in ECAD design.

Thorough familiarity with IPC standards, including coupon design, fabrication, assembly, and testing requirements.

Full understanding of stack-up configurations for signal integrity, impedance control, and EMI/EMC considerations.

Familiarity with advanced PCB fabrication methods, including microvias, blind/buried vias, HDI (High-Density Interconnect), and other cutting-edge fabrication methods.

A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline is preferred.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with tools and techniques to ensure reliable high-speed signal transmission and stable power delivery.

Expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT), minimizing production issues and facilitating testing and troubleshooting.

Ability to work seamlessly with hardware engineers, mechanical engineers, manufacturing, quality assurance, and suppliers.

Knowledge of scripting or automation within ECAD tools to improve productivity.

Salary Range Transparency:
Phoenix, AZ $97,382.00–$131,750.00 Annually
