E-commerce Data Operations Associate

Role Overview

PitStopArabia is a leading UAE-based online retailer for tyres and automotive parts. We work with a wide network of tyre suppliers across the region and depend on accurate, up-to-date pricing and availability data to serve our customers.

We are hiring two Data Operations Associates to join our remote operations team. Both roles are identical — you will be part of a two-person unit that owns the daily data cycle: receiving supplier files, cleansing and standardising data, updating our website, and creating new product listings on our Magento platform.

This is a detail-oriented, process-driven role. Accuracy and consistency are what matter most.

Monday to Friday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time (aligned to Dubai business hours)

Salary:

Up to PKR 75,000 per month (based on experience)

Reporting To:

Pricing Manager, PitStopArabia — Dubai

What You Will DoDaily Data Processing

• Receive pricing and availability files from multiple tyre suppliers in Excel and CSV format
• Cleanse and standardise data — fix formatting errors, fill in missing fields, resolve inconsistencies
• Flag anomalies to the Pricing Manager before processing (e.g. unusual price changes, incorrect stock figures)
• Run cleansed files through our internal tool to update live pricing and availability on the website
• Maintain a daily log: supplier name, volume processed, issues found and resolved

New Product Creation — Magento

• Create new product listings on Magento 2 when suppliers introduce new SKUs
• Populate all required fields: product title, SKU, brand, tyre dimensions, category, price, description
• Use internet research and AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to find and complete missing product specifications, fitment data, and descriptions
• Check all listings against a quality checklist before they go live

Team Coverage & Redundancy

• Both team members are trained on the full process — no task is owned by only one person
• Provide seamless cover when your teammate is absent, with no drop in output
• Keep each other updated on work-in-progress so handover is always possible

Additional Tasks

• When core daily work is complete, support the Pricing Manager with ad hoc tasks such as catalogue quality audits, competitor price checks, and data clean-up projects

What We Are Looking For

Essential

• 1–2 years of experience in data entry, back-office operations, or e-commerce
• Comfortable working in Excel — filters, sorting, find-and-replace, basic formulas (VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP a plus)
• Strong attention to detail — you catch errors others miss
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) accurately and flag gaps or issues
• Comfortable using the internet to research technical product information
• Basic working knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, or willingness to learn quickly
• Good written English for daily communication with the Dubai team
• Reliable home working setup: stable internet connection, dedicated workspace, no interruptions during working hours

Preferred (Not Required)

• Prior experience with Magento or any e-commerce platform
• Background in automotive parts, tyres, or a technical product category
• Experience with product catalogue management or data import tools

What This Role Is

This is an execution role, not a creative or strategy role. It is built on discipline, accuracy, and ownership of a daily process that directly affects what customers see on our website. The right candidate finds satisfaction in structured work done correctly and consistently.

You will be working independently from home but are expected to be responsive and communicative during working hours. Your manager is based in Dubai — proactive communication is a core expectation of this role.
