Job Title: E-Commerce Developer (OpenCart Specialist)

Location: Karachi (Full-time, On-site)

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Pakistan Standard Time)
• Saturday: 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Pakistan Standard Time)

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced OpenCart Specialist. This position involves handling, customizing, and enhancing our online commerce system to ensure reliability, flexibility, and top-notch performance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. OpenCart Programming

• Configure and tailor OpenCart (both frontend & backend).
• Build and improve templates, plugins, and modules.
• Connect with payment systems, logistics APIs, and external services.
• Improve site speed, SEO, and customer experience.

2. PHP Programming

• Produce well-structured, scalable code, diagnose issues, fix bugs, and adhere to industry best practices in testing, CI/CD, and version control.

3. Teamwork & Planning

• Match technical solutions with business needs.
• Assist with marketing/automation projects.
• Suggest and execute technical enhancements.

Qualifications:

• At least 4–5 years of hands-on experience in OpenCart development & PHP.
• Proficiency in OpenCart (templates, extensions, APIs, tailoring, and performance tuning) is a mandatory requirement.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Practical expertise with Git, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, capable of working independently and in a group.
