E-Commerce Director

Turkey

The E-Commerce Director will be responsible for driving Baydöner’s digital sales growth and profitability. This role defines and executes the company’s e-commerce strategy, manages all online sales channels, enhances the customer journey, and ensures operational excellence in fulfillment and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute e-commerce growth and sales strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.

Be passionate for agressive growth of e-commerce channel.

Drive strategic agreements with marketplaces and third-party food delivery platforms (e.g., Getir, Yemeksepeti, Trendyol Yemek, etc.) while leading execution with operation teams in a matrix management.

Lead end-to-end order fulfillment, logistics, and last-mile delivery operations

Manage delivery services through effective hinterland planning

Colloborate with the Revenue Management Team to set e-commerce channel pricing in line with competitive market conditions

Manage online visibility of e-commerce channel together with Marketing Department.

Enhance customer experience and satisfaction through continuous process improvements (customer support, feedback management, NPS tracking, etc.).

Coordinate marketplace operations and company departments function to function to ensure efficient businesss management.

Manage financial processes with marketplaces while overseeing the company’s cashflow.

Conduct competitive analysis, follow market trends, and develop investment plans of e-commerce channel

Manage e-commerce budget and own full P&L responsibility.

Build, develop, and manage a high-performing e-commerce team.

Qualifications

  • University graduate, preferably economy, business administration or engineering faculties
  • Experience in retail or FMCG sector, preferaby in food retail,
  • Strong knowledge of online marketplaces (Amazon, Trendyol, Hepsiburada,etc.)
  • Ability to lead and influence cross functional teams
  • Having a good communication skills, strong analytical ability, creative, inovative and result oriented
  • Having organization, planning, follow through and strong reporting skills
  • Advance proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools such as Power BI
  • Available for business travel
