Role Overview:
We are seeking detail-oriented and tech-savvy Cataloguing Executives to join our E-commerce team. The role involves creating, maintaining, and optimizing product listings across multiple platforms including Marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.), Quick Commerce platforms (Blinkit, Instamart, etc.), and the D2C website built on Shopify. The ideal candidate must possess a keen eye for accuracy and consistency, with a solid understanding of e-commerce platforms, product taxonomy, and data hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Listing & Cataloguing
· Prepare, format, and upload product listings on marketplaces, quick commerce platforms, and Shopify D2C website.
· Coordinate with design, content, and buying teams to collect product assets – titles, descriptions, specs, pricing, and images.
· Ensure product taxonomy, tags, variants, and attributes are accurate and consistent across platforms.
2. Quality Control & Data Accuracy
· Perform regular audits to identify and rectify errors in product listings (e.g., incorrect descriptions, missing images, wrong pricing).
· Ensure all listings meet platform-specific guidelines and brand tone.
3. Marketplace Operations
· Update and optimize listings on Amazon, Flipkart, and others using bulk sheets and seller portals.
· Monitor suppressed listings or flagged content and coordinate corrective actions.
· Conceptualise and Create A+ listings and rich media content for marketplaces.
4. Quick Commerce Listings
· Adapt listings for quick commerce platforms considering limited title characters, image orientation, and key visual highlights.
· Ensure timely uploads and updates aligned with seasonal/marketing campaigns.
5. D2C Website (Shopify) Maintenance
· Use Shopify backend for adding/editing products, collections, filters, and navigation.
· Work closely with SEO and performance marketing teams to ensure product metadata and tagging support searchability and ads.
6. Reporting & Coordination
· Maintain trackers for SKU status, listing progress, live links, and data issues.
Liaise with operations, customer care, and warehouse teams to ensure catalogue accuracy reflecting real-time stock and delivery timelines.
Educational Qualifications:
· Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration / IT / Computer Science or related field.
· Postgraduate degree or diploma in E-commerce, Digital Marketing, or Data Management (preferred but not mandatory).
Key Skills & Attributes:
· High attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to handle large datasets with speed and accuracy.
· Strong communication and coordination skills.
· Proactive problem-solving and quick learner.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Technical Skills Required:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation).
· Experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub.
· Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, Canva (for minor image edits), and bulk upload file formats.
· Basic knowledge of SEO, HTML tags, and metadata tagging (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹42,500.00 per month
