Position Overview:
We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented E-Commerce Interns to assist in managing and optimizing our online store and digital sales operations. This role provides hands-on experience in the fast-growing world of e-commerce, including tasks such as product listing, website management, customer engagement, and analytics. Ideal candidates will have a passion for digital commerce, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Management:
- Assist in adding and managing product listings on the e-commerce platform.
- Ensure all product descriptions, images, and pricing details are accurate and up-to-date.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking with the relevant teams.
- Order Management:
- Process online orders and ensure smooth coordination with the logistics team for timely delivery.
- Handle customer queries regarding orders, returns, and refunds professionally.
- Maintain records of sales, shipments, and customer feedback.
- Content Creation and Marketing:
- Assist in creating engaging content for product pages, banners, and promotional campaigns.
- Work with the marketing team to plan and execute email campaigns, social media promotions, and seasonal sales events.
- Research and suggest strategies to improve website traffic and conversion rates.
- Customer Engagement:
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries via email, chat, and social media.
- Address customer complaints and concerns effectively to ensure satisfaction.
- Help build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Market and Competitor Research:
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor products, and pricing strategies.
- Provide insights to help improve product offerings and online visibility.
- Website Optimization:
- Assist in website maintenance and ensure it runs smoothly across all devices.
- Identify and report website bugs or issues to the technical team.
- Test website functionalities, such as checkout processes, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor website traffic, sales trends, and customer behavior using analytics tools.
- Compile and present data-driven reports to improve the e-commerce platform's performance.
- Suggest improvements based on customer feedback and analytical insights.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.).
- Basic understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and web analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of design tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
