E-Commerce Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our new e-commerce division in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Qatar e-commerce market and will play a crucial role in building operational processes, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and driving overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage end-to-end e-commerce operations including order processing, payment reconciliation, logistics, and returns.
  • Collaborate with the Head of E-Commerce to set up operational systems and processes from scratch.
  • Coordinate with logistics, fulfillment, and customer support teams to ensure timely order delivery and smooth operations.
  • Develop and track KPIs related to fulfillment accuracy, order processing time, customer satisfaction, and inventory management.
  • Liaise with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to optimize last-mile delivery and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and e-commerce best practices in Qatar.
  • Monitor platform performance and suggest improvements to enhance the customer journey.
  • Implement and manage tools for inventory tracking, demand planning, and warehouse management.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to align operational readiness with campaign plans.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining high service levels.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, E-Commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in e-commerce operations, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role within Qatar.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom solutions).
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control tools.
  • Understanding of last-mile logistics and Qatar’s delivery ecosystem.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
