E-commerce Manager

The E-commerce Manager is responsible for the end-to-end performance of DNL Healthcare’s online platforms. You will manage the digital lifecycle of major international brands (such as Femfresh, Batiste, and Swiss Image) within the Qatar region. Your goal is to optimize the conversion funnel, manage localized logistics for health products, and ensure that the digital experience matches the high standards of the physical medical and beauty products DNL distributes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Management: Oversee the functionality, merchandising, and user experience of the e-commerce site (Shopify, Magento, or custom-built stacks).
  • Localized Commercial Strategy: Develop pricing, bundling, and promotional calendars tailored to Qatari consumer behavior, particularly during high-spend periods like Ramadan and Eid.
  • Inventory & Logistics Coordination: Partner with the supply chain team to ensure that healthcare products—which often require temperature-controlled storage—are accurately tracked and delivered via last-mile partners in Doha.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all online product claims, medical device descriptions, and data collection practices comply with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and Qatar’s Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (PDPPL).
  • Performance Marketing: Collaborate with the digital team to manage SEO/SEM and paid social campaigns (Instagram/TikTok/Snapchat) that drive high-intent traffic to the store.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Conduct regular A/B testing on checkout pages, product descriptions, and mobile interfaces to minimize cart abandonment.
  • Customer Analytics: Utilize GA4 and CRM data to build patient/consumer profiles, enabling personalized "subscription-based" models for recurring healthcare needs.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in e-commerce management. Experience in Healthcare, Beauty, or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in the GCC is highly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or E-commerce.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, or Adobe Commerce).
  • Mastery of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools (Ahrefs/Semrush).
  • Familiarity with ERP integrations (SAP/Odoo) for real-time inventory syncing.
  • Soft Skills: Commercial acumen, "mobile-first" design thinking, and the ability to navigate complex import/distribution data.
  • Language: Professional English fluency is mandatory. Arabic is a significant competitive advantage for localized merchandising and customer service.
