The E-Commerce & Online Wholesale Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the e-commerce strategy to drive online sales, enhance customer experience, and maximize brand visibility. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the e-commerce platform, from product management to digital marketing, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Role: E-Commerce & Online Wholesale Manager

Reports to: Regional Managing Director-IMEA

Location: Dubai, UAE


Scope


  • Shopify Platform Ownership: Serve as the primary owner of the Shopify ecosystem, including storefront management, app integrations, theme customization, and backend configuration. Apply prior migration experience to optimize platform architecture, streamline operations, and ensure scalability for future growth.
  • Site Management: Oversee daily operations of the brand’s Shopify-powered e-commerce platform, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and seamless user experience.
  • Digital Marketing Execution: Strategically launch and monitor campaigns across SEO, SEM, email, social media, and affiliate channels, integrating Shopify’s marketing tools and apps to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Merchandising & Content: Optimize Shopify product pages, visuals, and descriptions to enhance conversion rates and reinforce brand storytelling. Utilize Shopify’s CMS and third-party integrations to streamline content updates.
  • UX & CRO: Analyze user behavior using Shopify analytics and third-party tools to identify friction points. Implement data-driven improvements to the customer journey, checkout flow, and mobile experience, drawing on insights from previous Shopify migrations.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators such as traffic, conversion rate, AOV, bounce rate, and customer retention using Shopify’s native analytics and integrated BI platforms.
  • Fulfillment Coordination: Collaborate with logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction, leveraging Shopify’s fulfillment network and automation capabilities.
  • Tech Collaboration: Partner with IT and global teams to enhance the Shopify platform, resolve bugs, and roll out new features. Apply lessons learned from past Shopify migrations to anticipate challenges and accelerate implementation.


Main Responsibilities


  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the e-commerce strategy to achieve sales targets and enhance market presence.
  • Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce site, ensuring a seamless user experience and optimal functionality.
  • Product Management: Manage product listings, inventory, pricing strategies, and promotions to maximize sales potential.
  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to execute online marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media promotions.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor website performance, analyze customer behavior, and generate reports to inform strategic decisions and improve ROI.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure excellent customer service and address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, and logistics, to ensure alignment and efficient operations.
  • Budget Management: Manage the e-commerce budget, optimizing spending to achieve maximum impact on sales and brand visibility.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Account Management: Be the lead on account management and the primary point of contact for online wholesale partners.
  • Partners Management: Manage stakeholders to ensure we are owners at every touchpoint with a focus on driving brand image and representation across to capture market share.
  • Project lead for key season moments: Ensure great functional plans for key peak moments on the wholesale side of business, for e.g. Ramadan, Black Friday, etc.
  • Strategy setting: Ensure annual and quarterly strategy meetings are conducted to re-align and introduce KIKO MILANO’s vision for the region and any changes to ensure online cohesiveness.


Skills & Competencies


  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing e-commerce platforms and driving online sales.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and generate insights to inform decision-making.
  • Familiarity with SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce software and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify, Magento).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Focused on enhancing the customer experience and responding to consumer needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to address challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Arabic is a PLUS.
