We are seeking a hands-on, technically strong E-Commerce Operations Specialist to manage and support daily operations across Shopify, TikTok Shop, and our 3PL/WMS. This role is critical to ensure orders flow seamlessly across systems, inventory is accurate, and operational issues are identified and resolved quickly—especially during high-volume TikTok Live sales.


This is not a marketing, design, or creative role.

This role is focused on operations, fulfillment, inventory, and systems troubleshooting.


We’re looking for someone with 2–3 years of experience, strong common sense, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to learn and grow. Training and support will be provided—but success in this role requires initiative, attention to detail, and comfort navigating systems to figure out what’s broken and fix it.


Key Responsibilities:

E-Commerce & Order Operations

  • Monitor and manage daily orders across TikTok Shop and Shopify.
  • Ensure orders are successfully transmitted between TikTok Shop → Shopify → 3PL.
  • Spot-check orders to confirm fulfillment status, tracking accuracy, and system synchronization.
  • Proactively investigate late, missing, or unshipped orders and drive issues to resolution.
  • Communicate with internal teams and the 3PL to resolve fulfillment and order discrepancies.


System Sync & Technical Troubleshooting

  • Identify, investigate and resolve order and inventory sync issues across platforms.
  • Troubleshoot scenarios such as:
  • Orders appear in TikTok Shop but not Shopify
  • Orders are fulfilled but not reflected correctly across systems
  • Tracking numbers exist in one system but not another
  • Escalate and document larger systemic issues and help streamline processes over time.


Product Listings & Bundles

  • Create and manage product listings in Shopify and map/sync them to TikTok Shop.
  • Quickly create new listings, bundles, kits, and combined products upon request from the sales team—even on short notice (e.g., late-night TikTok Live requests).
  • Ensure new products, bundles, and kits are accurately synced across Shopify, TikTok Shop, and the 3PL.


Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels across platforms and the 3PL/WMS.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and availability for live sales and daily orders.
  • Coordinate sending inventory to the 3PL when products are not yet reflected in Shopify.
  • Help identify and resolve discrepancies (e.g., items not properly entered into Shopify).


Returns, Refunds & Fraud Monitoring

  • Review refund and return requests to identify unusual or fraudulent activity.
  • Investigate high-dollar or suspicious refund behavior and flag repeat offenders.
  • Maintain internal records (e.g., banned customer list) when necessary.


TikTok Live Sales Support

  • Be on-call and available during TikTok Live sales, including evenings, weekends and holidays when required.
  • Support live merchandising requests, inventory checks, and urgent listing or bundle creation.
  • Quickly respond to operational issues during live events to avoid lost sales.


Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of hands-on e-commerce operations experience (required).
  • Direct experience with Shopify and TikTok Shop (required).
  • Experience working with or coordinating with a 3PL/WMS.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn systems and workflows quickly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through — issues are owned through resolution.
  • Practical problem-solver who brings solutions, not just problems.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, curious and eager to grow with a scaling company.


Role Details

  • Role Type: Full-time, non-exempt (overtime eligible)
  • Compensation: $60,000 annually
  • Schedule: 
  • Regular hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch)
  • Flexibility required for TikTok Live sales, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays
