E-commerce QA Automation Engineer (Selenium) – Hyderabad, Telangana (AP/Telangana candidates only)​

Role summary

Looking for an E-commerce QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Selenium-based test automation and good functional understanding of end-to-end e-commerce flows. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts while also supporting functional test coverage for key customer journeys.​

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for e-commerce web applications using Selenium WebDriver (Java or similar language).​
• Automate regression test suites for critical flows such as product browsing, cart, checkout, payments, and order tracking.​
• Collaborate with functional testers to convert business requirements and test cases into robust automated scripts.​
• Execute automated test runs, analyze failures, debug issues, and work with developers to get defects resolved.​
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins/GitHub Actions) and generate execution reports.​
• Maintain and enhance the automation framework (data-driven/keyword/BDD) to improve coverage and stability.​

Required skills & experience

• 2–5 years of experience in QA automation with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver.​
• Solid understanding of software testing concepts, STLC, and regression testing for web-based e-commerce platforms.​
• Good programming skills in Java / Python / JavaScript for writing and maintaining automation scripts.​
• Experience in writing test cases, scenarios, and maintaining test documentation (test cases, RTM, defect reports).​
• Experience with tools like TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git, and bug tracking tools (JIRA or similar).​
• Added advantage: exposure to API automation (Postman/RestAssured) and cross-browser testing.​

• Work location: Hyderabad, Telangana (work from office).​
• Candidate preference: Applicants from Andhra Pradesh or Telangana states only.​
