Purpose
To drive online revenue growth by managing and expanding the company’s presence across leading e-commerce and quick commerce platforms, ensuring optimized listings, effective campaigns, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making to enhance brand visibility and profitability.
KRAs, Brief Descriptions, and Responsibilities
Marketplace Strategy & Sales Growth
Brief: Develop and execute platform-specific strategies to achieve sales and growth targets across marketplaces.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement sales strategies for Amazon, Flipkart, BlinkIt, Zepto, and other platforms.
- Develop annual/monthly e-commerce sales plans aligned with overall business goals.
- Identify new marketplace opportunities and negotiate onboarding terms.
- Monitor performance trends and make real-time adjustments to meet revenue targets.
- Regularly review analytics to improve sales conversion and reduce return rates.
Product Listings, Optimization & Brand Visibility
Brief: Enhance product visibility and ranking through optimized listings and A+ content.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Optimize titles, keywords, descriptions, bullet points, and product images.
- Manage A+ content and brand store setup to improve brand presentation.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices for marketplaces.
- Regularly audit listings for accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with the design team for attractive creatives and product visuals.
Campaign Management & Promotions
Brief: Plan and manage advertising campaigns and promotions to maximize traffic and ROI.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sponsored ad campaigns (PPC, display, brand ads).
- Plan and monitor promotional events, festive campaigns, and seasonal offers.
- Track ROI and optimize ad spend through performance analytics.
- Coordinate with marketing and finance for campaign budgeting and effectiveness tracking.
- Analyze competitors’ pricing and promotional strategies for insights.
Operations, Inventory & Order Fulfillment
Brief: Ensure seamless order processing, inventory control, and coordination for e-commerce fulfillment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the supply chain and warehouse teams for order processing and timely dispatch.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Manage product availability and delivery SLAs across platforms.
- Work with logistics partners and customer support teams for issue resolution.
- Maintain compliance with e-commerce platform policies and regulations.
Reporting, Analytics & Performance Insights
Brief: Track key performance metrics and generate actionable insights for management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Generate weekly/monthly reports on sales, traffic, conversion, and ad performance.
- Conduct profitability and ROI analysis for campaigns and product categories.
- Use analytical tools (Excel, Google Analytics, Seller Central dashboards) to derive trends.
- Identify areas of improvement in operations, listings, or campaign strategies.
- Present insights and recommendations to management for business growth.
Additional Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for cross-functional initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for marketplaces.
- Ensure digital compliance, product certifications, and FSSAI-compliant information.
- Assist in product launch activities on new e-commerce platforms.
- Stay updated on evolving marketplace algorithms, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 5–8 years of experience in e-commerce and quick commerce sales management.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and quick commerce dashboards.
- Functional Skills: Hands-on experience with PPC, SEO, campaign optimization, and marketplace analytics.
- Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Analytics, and data reporting.
