Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and driven Social Media Manager & Content Creator to own and grow the digital presence of Hairpiece Warehouse — a growing e-commerce brand specializing in high-quality men's hair systems, toupees, and hair replacement products. In this role, you will develop content strategies, produce engaging short-form video and social content, and build an authentic online community around hair confidence and the Hairpiece Warehouse brand. Your creativity, industry awareness, and analytical mindset will directly drive brand awareness, customer trust, and online sales in one of the most personal and nuanced niches in men's grooming and hair replacement. This is a remote contract position with the opportunity to convert to part-time or full-time based on performance and business growth — an exciting chance to shape the digital voice of a brand that genuinely changes lives.
Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest — growing Hairpiece Warehouse's following, engagement, and brand authority in the men's hair replacement space.
- Plan and manage a consistent content calendar using tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later, ensuring a strategic mix of product showcases, educational content, tutorials, testimonials, and lifestyle posts aligned with campaign goals.
- Produce and edit high-quality short-form video content — including product demos, hair system application tutorials, before-and-after transformations, and customer testimonials — optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Define and maintain Hairpiece Warehouse's brand voice, visual identity, and messaging guidelines across all platforms, ensuring content feels approachable, confidence-building, and authentic to men navigating hair loss and hair replacement.
- Use AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Opus Clip, CapCut AI, or similar platforms to streamline script writing, content repurposing, and video editing workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct ongoing competitor analysis of brands within the men's hair system industry to identify content gaps, positioning opportunities, and emerging trends.
- Implement and monitor paid social campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, tracking performance metrics and optimizing ad creative and targeting to maximize return on ad spend.
- Optimize content for organic reach by incorporating SEO best practices, relevant hashtags, and keyword research informed by tools such as Google Analytics and platform-native insights.
- Engage actively with followers by responding to comments, DMs, and reviews in a timely and empathetic manner — fostering a loyal, supportive community around hair confidence and the Hairpiece Warehouse brand.
- Track and analyze content performance across all platforms, delivering regular reports with clear insights, trends, and strategic recommendations to guide ongoing content decisions.
- Research and monitor trends in men's hair replacement, hair loss awareness, and short-form video content to keep Hairpiece Warehouse's content strategy relevant, timely, and competitive.
- Collaborate with the Hairpiece Warehouse team to coordinate influencer partnerships, user-generated content campaigns, and promotional initiatives that expand brand reach and credibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media and creating content for an e-commerce brand, preferably in the beauty, men's grooming, hair care, wigs, or hair replacement industry.
- Strong short-form video production and editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, DaVinci Resolve, or similar — with a portfolio of published Reels, TikToks, or YouTube Shorts to demonstrate your work.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to support content creation, scripting, or video editing workflows in a professional capacity.
- Solid understanding of social media management platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later for scheduling, analytics, and calendar management.
- Knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research, and web analytics tools including Google Analytics to inform content strategy and improve organic performance.
- Experience with Facebook and Instagram advertising — including campaign setup, audience targeting, performance tracking, and creative optimization.
- Ability to create content that addresses sensitive topics such as hair loss with empathy, authenticity, and a confidence-forward tone that resonates with our target audience.
- Strong graphic design skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Creative Suite for creating visually compelling social assets and branded content.
- Excellent written communication and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for brand consistency across all content formats and platforms.
- Experience conducting competitor research and translating market insights into actionable content strategy and brand positioning.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple content projects simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with men's hair systems, toupees, or hair replacement products is a strong plus — or a genuine eagerness to become a knowledgeable voice in the space quickly.
- Passion for staying current on emerging trends in social media, short-form video, digital marketing, and the men's grooming and hair replacement industry.
