Overview
We are seeking an experienced and innovative E-Commerce Technical Director to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in SAP Commerce and related platforms, app development (both Flutter and native), testing automation, technical architecture, and retail. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage and retain an offshore team effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of developers, including offshore teams
- Drive technical excellence and innovation in our E-Commerce solutions using SAP Commerce (Hybris) and related platforms
- Oversee the development of mobile applications using Flutter and native technologies, ensuring high performance, scalability, and user experience
- Implement and manage automated testing frameworks to ensure quality and reliability of E-Commerce applications
- Design and oversee the technical architecture of our eCommerce solutions, ensuring performance, security, and scalability
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates, gather requirements, and align technical solutions with business goals
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies; continually seek opportunities to improve and innovate our E-Commerce solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; master's degree preferred
- Proven experience as a Technical Director or similar leadership role in the E-Commerce domain
- Extensive experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) and similar platforms
- Strong background in app development using Flutter and native technologies
- Proficient in testing automation and related frameworks
- Solid understanding of technical architecture principles and best practices
- Experience in the retail industry, understanding its unique challenges and opportunities
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, including experience managing offshore teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
