Job Purpose
The E-Commerce Web Analyst is responsible for analyzing website data, user experiences, and online retail performance for websites and other OTA distribution platforms. They will be effective at translating insights from the data to create easily understood narratives for business stakeholders. The E-Commerce Web Analyst will also be responsible for proactively monitoring and reporting on KPIs. The E-Commerce Web Analyst’s day-to-day responsibilities will require the individual to have working knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO), Google Analytics (specifically GA4), Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager, heat mapping and UX tracking tools. Analyzing all online key metrics about our business and performance (Room nights, Revenue, Bookings trends) an providing highly efficient reports, business analysis, data trends and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the core business’s eCommerce data and analytics insights: extract, consolidate, present and analyze data as per Digital Marketing and E-commerce requirements

Develop and deliver reports from web platforms and queries from databases that summarize insights for review by management to summarize campaign performance and help drive marketing and business unit decisions.

Monitoring and analyzing e-commerce metrics and figures.

Transforming e-commerce data into operational insights.

Create a sustainable CRO process to identify customer friction points on the website for conversion into A/B testing opportunities.

Work with Revenue and Business Development team to leverage business intelligence platform to visualize data to inform key Marketing stakeholders, experience with Tableau a plus.

Collaborate with IT colleagues to manage advanced analytics requests tied to web properties.

Additional responsibilities based on qualification : Build an A/B testing process using tools like VWO or Optimizely and work with Digital Marketing Manager to implement best performing UX with IT.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (focus on Marketing or Data Science a plus).

3-5 years of experience in a data analytics role.

Good understanding of hospitality KPIs (Room nights, Revenue ADR, TREVPOR) and other revenue terminology

Excellent report writing and presentation abilities ( Excel Sheet, Pivot Table, charts, PowerPoint etc).

Knowledge of Power BI and Canva

Must have good knowledge Google Analytics (GA4 preferred), Google Looker Insights, OTA reporting tools

A plus: knowledge of Google Tag Manager, A/B testing platforms (Google Optimize) and HTML/CSS

Strong analytical skills.
