Description


Job Purpose

• Support all Payments B2C, B2E and B2B applications & platforms • Provide on time technical application support and problem solving during all operational hours to ensure healthy environment of the supported systems and un-interrupted smooth business operations.

Report To Position Name

 Ensure that supported Applications are up and running 24/7.  Ensure that applications are closely monitored.  Provide proactive support to avoid application issues.  Review Applications KPIs for any room for enhancement.  Handle Global issues related to supported applications.  Perform on-call duties.  Ensure proper handover between development teams and operation/support teams.  Focus on change management process and ensure its execution.  Follow up for fixes delivery to close any detected product defect.  Follow up on Post Production testing to ensure smooth operation and minimize customer impacts and company revenue losses.  Follow up and guide Quality check for new introduced expansion nodes for digital Applications & Platforms. 

Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS_ESSENTIAL

 University Degree in Electrical Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering - Have Experience & Knowledge in payment software technical support and operation field - Knowledge in supporting applications and/or models using main programming languages (Java, .NET, Angular, node ..etc.) for backend and front end development. - Strong knowledge supporting Java and Spring boot applications. - Excellent experience in payment security (PCI Compliance, certificate pinning, obfuscation, session management…etc) is a plus. - Banking and Payment Experience is highly preferred  Excellent command of English language (Reading, Writing & Oral).  Software development background.

EXPERIENCE_ESSENTIAL

 Preferable Minimum 2 to 3 years’ Experience in SW support & Web development. With a least 1 year of experience in Payment systems, Mobile Money and mCommcerce solutions.


EXPERIENCE_DESIRABLE

• Experience in Payment Vendors/ Payment providers • Experience in Software testing techniques • Experience in Software testing Tools (Management- Load- Automation- Security

CERTIFICATIONS_ESSENTIAL

1. UNIX scripting and JAVA 2. Problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills required. 3. SQL/PLSQL 4. Fluency in English (Reading, Writing & Oral)
