Description


  • Monitor and maintain the applications performance, availability and security of infrastructure and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and support infrastructure and application solutions.
  • Perform regular system maintenance and upgrades, including patching and configuration changes.
  • Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and application support processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure effective delivery of infrastructure and application support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in infrastructure and application support.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security controls and measures to achieve the PCI DSS requirements.

Work closely with development & operations teams to ensure the secure integration of applications with the infrastructure


Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Proven 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure and application support, preferably in the payment industry or similar high-volume transaction environment.
  • Solid knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking and virtualization.
  • Strong understanding of PCI DSS requirements and experience with conducting PCI assessments.
  • Proficiency in administering and support Linux operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols, security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with application servers such as Apache, Nginx, tomcat, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools, such as Bash and Python.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible and K8S.
  • Familiarity with monitoring/Logging tools such as Zabbix and ELK.
  • Familiarity with security controls such as Firewall, WAF and SIEM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quick identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
