Early Childhood Educator

Duties:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development.

- Support toddlers and developing basic self help skills.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.

- Encourage cooperative play and help children build early social skills (e.g., potty training).

- Guide behavior using positive discipline strategies and redirection.

- Communicate with parents or guardians about their child's growth and daily experiences.

- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment that promotes child welfare and development.

- Provide physical education opportunities to enhance gross motor skills and coordination.

Experience: Required

- Experience planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities.

- Knowledge of child safety standards, first aid, and emergency procedures.

- Ability to manage classroom routines and transitions effectively.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and colleagues.

- Experience supporting toilet training and basic self-help skill development for young children.

- Ability to guide behavior positively and constructively.

- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and I engaging classroom space.

- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.

- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.

All (4) Clearances, trainings, along with a mantoux test dated within the past year, are required.
