Early Childhood Lead Teacher

Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise and engage children in play, both indoors and outdoors
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Change diapers and assist with potty training
- Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues
- Communicate with parents about their child's day and progress
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare area

Requirements:
- First aid and CPR certification
- Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and appropriate activities for each age group
- Ability to provide infant, toddler, preschool, and special needs care
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Rate:

$19.25 per hour

Qualifications:

60 credit hours of college level courses with at least 6 of those credit hours being ECE courses

OR

One year experience in a licensed center with 30 semester hours with 6 hours in ECE

OR

CDA Certificate

OR

CCP Certificate
