Ms. C and T's Learning Place is looking for a passionate and dedicated Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a GSRP Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment for our young students. You'll play a vital role in their early development, helping them build the foundational skills they need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with GSRP standards.
  • Plan and lead daily classroom activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Foster strong home-school connections through regular parent-teacher communication, including the completion of required home visits and formal conferences to share developmental progress
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and effective learning community.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and other required documentation.
  • Adhere to all GSRP and licensing regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 4-5) in a classroom setting.
  • Strong understanding of GSRP standards and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A positive attitude, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to professional growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
