Job Summary
As an Early Childhood Music Teacher, you will ignite a passion for music and creativity in young learners. Your role is pivotal in fostering a joyful and engaging environment where children can explore the world of music through singing, movement, and play. You will design and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of preschool-aged children, ensuring that each child feels valued and inspired to express themselves through music.

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum that integrates music education with early childhood development principles.
• Lead engaging music classes that incorporate singing, dancing, and rhythm activities tailored to young learners.
• Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies to create a nurturing learning environment.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's musical growth and development.
• Utilize various teaching methods, including hands-on activities and storytelling, to enhance learning experiences.
• Organize showcases to celebrate students’ musical achievements and foster community engagement.
• Continuously assess student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly to meet the needs of all learners.

Experience

• A degree in Music or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching music or related subjects to young children in a preschool setting.
• Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for early childhood education.
• Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those with special needs.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques that promote positive classroom dynamics.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.

Pay: $55.00 per hour
