Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (6 weeks-5 yrs) to join our incredible team! This teacher will work at either our Brentwood or Franklin school, depending on the needs of the week.

The ideal teacher candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

As a Kiddie Academy Teacher, you will implement age-appropriate curricula, engage in meaningful interactions with students, and ensure the overall well-being of each child in your care.

Duties

• Educate and engage children through play-based learning activities that promote curiosity and exploration.
• Provide care by attending to the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of each child.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Develop and implement curriculum tailored to the developmental stages of children.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children in understanding appropriate social interactions.
• Prioritize child welfare by ensuring a safe and healthy classroom environment.
• Stay informed about early childhood development principles to support the growth of each child.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns regarding their education or behavior.

Job Requirements

Early Childhood Education degree preferred
Candidates should possess a background in early childhood education or a related field, with at least 2 years experience in a large, licensed childcare building.

Familiarity with preschool curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and knowledge of early childhood development principles are essential for success in this role.

Must be able to lift 40 pounds and frequently move from a sitting to standing position

Must have a vaild CPR certifcation

Must be comfortable changing diapers

Must have reliable transportation daily

Must be able to effectively & properly communicate verbally and in written form

Must be able to engage, collaborate and partner with parents, managers and coworkers

Must be flexible to work location of either Brentwood or Franklin, depending on the needs of the building

Pay based upon ECE education & licensed childcare experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
