Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, math skills, and physical activity
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, socialization, and independence
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques
• Conduct assessments to monitor each child's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support at-home learning initiatives
• Incorporate specialized approaches such as Montessori methods or early intervention strategies when appropriate
• Plan and facilitate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social growth, including preschool experience and toddler care
• Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and standards for child welfare and safety
• Integrate inclusive practices to support children with special education needs or those requiring additional support
• Utilize standardized testing tools when necessary to evaluate developmental milestones and learning outcomes

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools
• Demonstrated success in lesson planning tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental stages
• Experience with curriculum development across subjects including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create an organized and positive learning environment
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early intervention and special education support
• Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
• Experience working with standardized testing procedures or assessments used in early childhood settings
• Background in Montessori or other specialized educational philosophies is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
