Early Childhood Teacher

Overview

We are looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team for the summer season. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine interest in nurturing young minds. This position is to cover vacation time from May to August. If you do well, we will extend your position to year-round!

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.

- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children.

- Monitor and assess student progress.

- Collaborate with parents to support children's learning and development.

- Utilize effective behavior management techniques.

- Incorporate creative teaching methods to engage young learners.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

- Previous experience working with young students.

- Knowledge of childhood development principles.

- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures.

- Experience in toddler care and behavior management.

- Background in tutoring or daycare settings is a plus.

- Understanding of child welfare practices.

- Ability to work effectively in a private school environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
