Early Learning Program Childcare Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Learning Program Childcare Teacher to join our team. This role involves creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and fostering a love of learning. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and possess strong classroom management skills to promote positive behavior and educational growth. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development
  • Plan and execute engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of toddlers, preschoolers, and children requiring special education or early intervention services
  • Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive conduct and social skills
  • Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing and early childhood benchmarks to monitor progress
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support each child's welfare and developmental goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and classroom activities
  • Incorporate Montessori, STEM, or other specialized educational approaches as appropriate
  • Support children with diverse needs through individualized instruction and tutoring when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, safety standards, and best practices in childhood development

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management
  • Familiarity with special education needs, behavior management techniques, and child welfare practices
  • Proficiency in literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education activities
  • Ability to work effectively with children across different age groups including toddlers and preschoolers
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
  • Experience working in daycare settings or private schools is preferred
  • Knowledge of Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners including those requiring additional support or tutoring
  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining classroom routines and documentation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.75 - $12.00 per hour
