Early Preschool (2.5-3 year old) Lead Teacher

Early Preschool Teacher (Ages 2.5–3)

We are looking for a warm, energetic Early Preschool Teacher to join our team and support children ages 2.5–3 years old.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, engaged, and hands-on with young children throughout the day. Our teachers help create a classroom where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore, communicate, and learn.

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment
  • Engage children through play, conversation, music, movement, and hands-on activities
  • Support children's development in language, social skills, independence, and problem solving
  • Supervise children closely and ensure health and safety practices are followed
  • Work as part of a teaching team, communicating and collaborating throughout the day
  • Follow daily classroom routines including circle time, small groups, meals, diapering/toileting, and outdoor play
  • Communicate with families professionally about their child’s day
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom

What We're Looking For

We are seeking teachers who are:

  • Attentive and proactive with children
  • Comfortable managing a group of toddlers while staying calm and patient
  • Willing to stay active and engaged throughout the day
  • Able to take initiative and support classroom needs
  • Strong communicators who enjoy interacting with young children

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift, move, and actively supervise children throughout the day
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain:
  • Pediatric CPR with rescue breathing and Pediatric First Aid certification
  • Background check
  • State required preservice training or 2 years of licensed center experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
