Early Years Class Teacher
The Role
We are looking for a passionate, creative, and dedicated Early Years Class Teacher to join our growing team. If you believe in nurturing curiosity, building strong foundations for learning, and creating joyful early childhood experiences, we’d love to hear from you. About the Role As an Early Years Class Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping children’s early learning experiences. You will create a warm, stimulating classroom environment, deliver developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and build strong relationships with children and families. You’ll work closely with colleagues to ensure high?quality teaching and care aligned with the EYFS framework. Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver engaging, age?appropriate learning experiences following the EYFS. • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. • Observe, assess, and document children’s progress. • Build strong, positive relationships with parents and maintain open communication. • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues to support children’s development. • Contribute to classroom organisation, displays, and learning resources. • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development. • Support nursery events, celebrations, and community activities.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For • A recognised Early Childhood qualification (CACHE Level 3/5, Montessori, Bachelor’s in Education, or equivalent). • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early years best practice. • Experience working in an early years or nursery setting. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • A warm, positive, and child?centred approach. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. • Passion for early childhood education and continuous professional growth.
