We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Arup’s East Geography. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the built environment and eager to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced setting that values creativity and innovation. This strategic role involves proposal direction and content creation, communicating Arup’s values, and contributing to various marketing activities. Our Marketing Coordinator can be based in our New York, Boston, or Washington DC offices.

The Opportunity

  • Coordinate the preparation of competitive proposals, qualification packages, and interview presentations
  • Work closely with leadership to develop client-focused win strategies for proposals and statements of qualification to successfully capture future work
  • Participate in the development and execution of go/no-go decision-making
  • Participate in interview planning and presentation rehearsal, and support the development win strategy, themes, and differentiators in presentation materials
  • Assist in client and market research activities
  • Develop and maintain marketing collateral, such as presentations, brochures, project sheets, and resumes.
  • Maintain and update CRM and SharePoint databases.
  • Identify and track new opportunities by monitoring targeted procurement sites of key clients and agencies
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of graphic standards to maintain a cohesive and recognizable brand identity
  • Coordinate and support conferences, sponsorships, and key client events.

The Skills

  • 2 or more years of experience coordinating and preparing proposals within the AEC industry
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field
  • Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Confident, self-motivated, independent, and proactive
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as Adobe InDesign (other Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus)
  • Involvement with marketing and/or AEC industry organizations is a plus

Hiring Range – The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in New York is 75,000 to 90,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of New York will differ.
