ECEAP Lead Teacher (AL 105)

If so, apply to be an ECEAP Lead Teacher at our Angle Lake childcare development center.

Your Role: The ECEAP Lead Teacher plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises developmental classrooms for children, including children with disabilities and their peers without disabilities. They may also supervise and evaluate teacher’s assistants and volunteers in the performance of their duties in the classroom.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school graduate or GED
  • An Associate's in Early Childhood Education, OR a WA State Teaching Certificate with and endorsement in ECE or Early Childhood Special Education
  • 2 years teaching experience in ECE (preferred) with prior experience as a Lead Teacher
  • Prior experience working in ECEAP and at an inclusive childcare center (preferred)·
  • Must pass Washington State Department of Early Learning (DEL) background check (and federal background check if applicable) and maintain background check compliance
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or right to work

Because of our location, our enrollees come from several Seattle area neighborhoods and truly represent the diversity of our area.

Angle Lake provides a multi-cultural educational approach and an inclusive environment where children with and without disabilities learn and play side-by-side each and every day. We utilize Individual Education Plans for children that may benefit from them and operate our centers to NAEYC standards. Pay: $23.50 - $28.00 per hour
