ECG & TMT Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for ECG and TMT procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
• Attach electrodes and operate ECG/TMT machines as per standard protocols.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any emergency situations.
• Accurately record and maintain test results for review by cardiologists/physicians.
• Ensure proper calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of ECG and TMT equipment.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines in the diagnostic area.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital/clinic policies.
• Assist doctors in interpreting basic test results and provide reports on time.
• Support other diagnostic or cardiology-related tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Certificate in ECG & TMT Technician course (or equivalent).
• Prior experience in a hospital/diagnostic center (preferred but not mandatory for freshers).
• Knowledge of ECG, Holter, and treadmill test procedures.
• Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient handling.
• Ability to remain calm and attentive during emergency situations.
