We are seeking an ECM/DMS Technical Project Manager (in other companies this person could hold the title of Project Manager, IT Project Manager, or Technical Delivery Manager) to lead client-facing implementation and migration projects involving NetDocuments and other document management platforms. This role is hands-on and includes designing and optimizing cabinet structures, metadata schemas, and security configurations tailored to each client's workflow and compliance needs.

In this role, you will coordinate project timelines, communicate with clients and internal teams, manage budgets, and ensure quality deliverables from launch to go-live. To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering a high level of service to clients and internal stakeholders. Prior experience managing the lifecycle of document management system solutions through their implementation, migration, or similar projects would help you hit the ground running.

  • Collaborate with ECM engineers and sales on solution designs

  • Lead weekly team meetings and client communications

  • Assist with engineer scheduling and project status reporting

  • Document specifications and assist with system design and troubleshooting

  • Provide Go Live training and maintain client relationship cadence

  • Promote Element’s services and support marketing efforts

  • Maintain billable hours target (20–30 hours/week)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1–7 years of Project Management experience, preferably in technical or document management system (DMS) environments

  • Strong experience managing DMS lifecycles including implementation, migration (on-prem to cloud, and cloud-to-cloud), and optimization projects

  • Familiarity with legal practice DMS tools (e.g., NetDocuments, iManage, Tabs3, ActionStep, Zencase) is a plus

  • Prior technical support experience with DMS and understanding of the ticket lifecycle

  • Passion for a positive client experience

  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, gathering business requirements, and leading client-facing meetings throughout project lifecycles

  • Two-year technical degree minimum; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are advantageous

  • Experience with Azure AD, ITGlue, ConnectWise PSA, and Microsoft Office Suite are a plus

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or within a cross-functional team environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods

  • Work in-office or remotely in a professional setting

  • Reliable transportation for occasional equipment transport

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Compensation:

The compensation is expected to start at $85,000. Our offer will be determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.
