Ecological Restoration Designer

POSITION:

Ecosystem Planning and Restoration, LLC (EPR) is seeking a full-time in our Columbia, MD office. We are looking for dynamic individuals with strong logistical, problem-solving and engineering skills to work with our ecosystem restoration design program. Ideal candidates will hold a degree in related field and have 7 plus years direct experience in ecosystem restoration and mitigation, stormwater management, watershed assessment, and business development. Preferred candidates will be self-motivated, have demonstrated experience leading ecosystem restoration tasks and/or projects, and collaborate effectively in a multi-discipline team setting.

EDUCATION:

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited university in a degree related to their profession. Degrees of interest include Engineering, Environmental Science, Ecology, Hydrology, Geology, Geomorphology, Landscape Architecture, Biology, Forestry or related field.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

· Seven (7) plus years of direct experience

· Watershed assessments

· Fluvial geomorphic conditional assessments

· Ecosystem restoration design development

· Computer Aided Design (Bentley Products Preferred / AutoCAD Acceptable)

· Support of EPR offices in other states

· Report writing

· Engineering plans, specifications and technical reports

· Hydrologic and hydraulic analyses

· Construction services

· Mitigation projects

· Permitting

· Monitoring

· Client interface

· Project management

· Business Development

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
