Role summary

Build, customize, and maintain e‑commerce websites with secure payment and shipment flows.

​Initial engagement will be project / demo‑project based; extension and permanency depend on performance and skill growth.

​

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain e‑commerce websites (front‑end and basic back‑end).

​Integrate and manage payment gateways (UPIs, Razorpay, PayU, Stripe, etc.) with secure checkout.

​Implement order management, shipment tracking, and status update features on the website.

​Set up product catalog, cart, wishlist, coupon codes, and user account features as required.

​Optimize website speed, mobile responsiveness, and basic SEO for better user experience.

​Troubleshoot bugs, handle basic security best practices, and provide technical support for live sites.

​Collaborate with founder/marketing team on UI changes, new features, and landing pages for campaigns.

​

Required experience and skills

2–5 years of hands‑on experience in e‑commerce web development (agency, freelance, or product company).

​Strong experience with at least one e‑commerce platform: WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, OpenCart, or similar.

​Proven experience integrating payment gateways and handling payment callbacks, order status, and confirmations.

​Experience implementing shipment tracking, order history, and logistics partner integrations is required.

​Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one back‑end language / CMS (PHP/WordPress preferred).

​Ability to take a project end‑to‑end: from requirements and wireframe to deployment and basic maintenance.

​Experience with API integrations (courier partners, inventory, CRM) and basic SEO/analytics setup.

Self‑motivated, comfortable working in a home‑office startup environment in Tiruppur (work location: employer’s residence).

​Strong problem‑solving attitude, ownership mindset, and willingness to work on demo and test projects to prove capability.

​Ability to communicate clearly, manage timelines, and document work properly.

Employment type and location

Type: Project‑based / evaluation period initially; possibility of longer‑term role based on performance.

Work Mode: In‑person only (work from our home office).

​Location: Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu (preference for male candidates already in/around Tiruppur).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹16,500.00 per month
