Position Summary
We are seeking an Ecommerce Brand Manager with deep expertise in Amazon management and retail media strategy. This role will be a key driver of Hippeas’ digital growth, owning strategy, execution, and performance across Amazon, Instacart, Walmart.com, Target.com, and other ecommerce partners. You will lead retail media planning, optimize PDP content, manage channel operations, partner cross-functionally, and uncover insights that accelerate revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Channel Growth
- Manage the full Amazon business, including forecasting inputs, operational troubleshooting, promotional planning, and Vendor Central management.
- Partner with supply chain and finance to improve profitability, minimize chargebacks, and maintain healthy inventory positions.
- Lead PDP optimization including SEO-rich copy, image stacks, A+ content, and ongoing conversion-rate enhancements.
- Manage relationships and growth initiatives with pure-play partners, including Thrive Market and HungryRoot.
- Identify, evaluate, and open new ecommerce accounts that align with brand goals.
Retail Media & Performance Marketing
- Lead full-funnel retail media strategy across platforms including Amazon Ads (Sponsored Ads + DSP), Instacart Ads, Walmart Connect, and Roundel.
- Develop annual media plans, manage budgets, and optimize spend to improve ROAS, TACoS, share of voice, and new-to-brand acquisition.
- Partner with agencies and platforms on campaign execution and analytics.
Creative Development & Innovation
- Partner with creative teams to develop breakthrough digital content, hero imagery, and platform-specific storytelling.
- Lead A/B and multivariate testing to optimize PDP performance across retailers.
- Ensure consistency of brand voice and identity across all digital touchpoints.
- Lead the digital go-to-market strategy for innovation launches, including messaging, PDP builds, content development, and media planning.
- Partner with marketing, operations, and sales teams to ensure flawless execution across ecommerce channels.
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor and report on KPIs such as ROAS, TACoS, SOV, conversion rate, CTR, repeat rate, and profitability.
- Synthesize insights from Amazon Brand Analytics, retail media dashboards, and syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen) to inform strategy.
- Identify trends, uncover growth opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and external agencies to align digital strategies with broader business goals.
- Communicate performance insights, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Own ecommerce media and marketing budgets, ensuring accurate planning, efficient spend, and maximum ROI.
Qualifications & Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in ecommerce or brand management within CPG.
- 2+ years of direct Amazon management experience with hands-on expertise in Vendor Central, AMS/Sponsored Ads, and content management.
- Experience with syndicated data tools (IRI, Nielsen) and ecommerce analytics platforms (e.g., Profitero, Stackline, or similar).
- Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with trade management tools a plus.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, trade spend, promotions, and complex cross-functional projects.
- Highly organized, with the ability to operate in ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Current knowledge on platform changes, emerging tools, and best practices in the retail media and ecommerce landscape.
- Some travel may be required.

- Amazon revenue growth and category share expansion
- Improvement in key PDP conversion metrics and Share of Voice
- Retail media efficiency (ROAS, TACoS) and budget stewardship
- Successful and timely execution of innovation launches
- Forecast accuracy and operational stability
