Ecommerce Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager to lead day-to-day online retail operations, including website merchandising, production, optimization, and overall digital customer experience. This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in Shopify, UX/UI optimization, and the ability to manage a remote team. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-focused, with a proven ability to drive online growth and improve conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities:

E-commerce Operations & Website Management:

  • Manage day-to-day e-commerce operations, including site maintenance, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
  • Oversee product catalog management, content updates, and overall site functionality.

Website Merchandising & Optimization:

  • Develop and execute website merchandising strategies to maximize conversion rates and revenue.
  • Leverage tools such as Fast Simon, Bloomreach, or Searchspring for search optimization, personalization, and merchandising automation.

UX/UI & Conversion Rate Optimization:

  • Optimize user experience (UX) and interface design (UI) through A/B testing, customer research, and data analysis.
  • Use tools like Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity to analyze user behavior and identify opportunities for improvement.

Analytics & Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor site performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Implement data-driven improvements to enhance user experience and drive revenue growth.

Team & Project Management:

  • Manage and coordinate a remote team of content and website producers.
  • Oversee cross-functional projects while maintaining organized workflows and prioritization.

Technical & SEO Collaboration:

  • Ensure the website follows SEO best practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with teams to implement enhancements and overall site performance.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce management or similar roles.
  • Proven track record of driving online revenue growth and improving conversion rates.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Shopify.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with merchandising tools such as Fast Simon, Bloomreach, or Searchspring.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and e-commerce best practices.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with tools like Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar heatmapping tools.
  • Experience with Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on improving user experience.
