Proficiency in leading SEO tools such as Ahrefs or SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog is essential. This role demands a proven track record in growing organic traffic and revenue through effective SEO strategies and requires in-depth expertise in Shopify SEO, including URL structure optimization, metafields, canonical handling, and sitemap management. Additionally, strong content writing and editorial oversight skills tailored to English-language US audiences are crucial for success in this position. The SEO Specialist will play a critical part in enhancing the online presence and search engine ranking of First Manufacturing Company Inc.'s ecommerce platforms. The role requires continuous monitoring and refinement of SEO tactics to keep pace with changing algorithms and market trends. Familiarity with leather, apparel, motorcycle, or outdoor gear verticals, experience in programmatic SEO, and understanding AI-driven search algorithms will be advantageous. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid will support technical SEO troubleshooting and implementation. The role offers the opportunity to impact revenue growth while maintaining a detailed, data-driven approach to SEO execution.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-potential search terms and phrases relevant to the ecommerce market.
  • Perform detailed on-page optimization, including meta tags, headings, URL structures, and image alt attributes to improve search engine rankings.
  • Execute technical SEO audits to identify and fix website issues affecting crawlability, indexation, and user experience.
  • Manage and optimize Shopify SEO elements such as URL structure, metafields, canonical URLs, and sitemap configurations.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
  • Develop and implement effective link building strategies to enhance domain authority and organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with content creators to guide content strategy and improve editorial quality targeted at English-speaking US audiences.
  • Track and report SEO performance metrics regularly, sharing insights and case studies demonstrating traffic and revenue growth.
  • Stay informed on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Apply basic HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid knowledge to resolve technical SEO issues and optimize site performance.
  • Support programmatic SEO initiatives and template-based content scaling efforts when applicable.
  • Explore and leverage AI-driven search optimization techniques to improve geo-targeted and generative search engine rankings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of SEO workflows, audits, and optimizations for consistent process improvement.
