Ecommerce Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for a Social Media & Marketing Specialist who is passionate about both people and design — someone who wants to take ownership of our social media program and play a key role in our marketing team.
This position is responsible for managing our brand presence across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, writing engaging copy in our friendly brand voice, and ensuring our community feels seen and supported.
You’ll also use your graphic design skills to create visual assets like banners, fliers, and graphics for marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotions. You’ll work closely with our content creation team but take full responsibility for making sure our social media channels shine.Key Responsibilities

• Manage and post content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Write engaging, on-brand captions and post copy.
• Monitor comments and messages, providing warm, professional customer service.
• Create graphics, banners, and promotional materials for social media, email, and website use.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams on campaign planning and execution.
• Track engagement metrics and suggest ways to grow and improve.
• Stay informed on trends in the knitting and crochet community and social media best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience managing social media for a brand or business.
• Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Demonstrated graphic design experience (portfolio or examples required).
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized, reliable, and proactive — you take ownership of your role.
• Understanding of or experience in the knitting or crochet community is strongly preferred.
• Collaborative mindset — enjoys working as part of a team.
