Ecommerce UX/UI Designer - Remote Position/Part-Time Opportunity for Full-Time

Hourly: $43.00-$50.00/hr

Description:

Our mission is to help customers save time and money when purchasing commercial kitchen equipment and supplies by providing a customer-centric shopping experience and by leveraging our industry buying power.

We are seeking an experienced E-commerce UX and UI Designer to drive meaningful improvements to the RestaurantSupply.com shopping experience, with a primary focus on increasing conversion rate and core performance metrics. This role is responsible for designing, testing, and iterating on user experiences that improve trust, usability, and purchasing efficiency across the site.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience designing UX and UI for high-traffic e-commerce websites
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma or comparable web-based design and prototyping tools
  • Strong experience using analytics and experimentation tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or similar A-B testing platforms
  • Proven understanding of conversion rate optimization, usability testing, and user behavior analysis
  • Experience designing professional, corporate, trust-focused interfaces for B2B or complex e-commerce environments
  • Ability to translate data insights, customer behavior, and test results into clear design decisions
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with developers, product, and experimentation teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and documentation standards
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accountability and quality

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design and deliver high-quality UX and UI solutions in Figma that are clearly structured, well-labeled, and ready for development implementation
  • Continuously analyze customer behavior, feedback, and performance data to identify friction points and optimization opportunities
  • Propose, design, and refine UX hypotheses focused on improving conversion rate and key KPI metrics
  • Collaborate with developers and the A-B testing team to plan, execute, and evaluate design experiments
  • Ensure all designs reflect a professional, corporate, and trustworthy brand presence that builds customer confidence
  • Iterate rapidly based on test results, stakeholder feedback, and evolving business priorities
  • Maintain and improve design consistency, usability standards, and component organization across the platform
  • Stay current on UX, UI, and e-commerce best practices, applying new ideas thoughtfully and strategically
