Key Responsibilities

  • Teach structured lessons in economics, covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, Indian economic development, statistics for economics, and current economic issues.
  • Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and relevant competitive tests.
  • Develop lesson plans that integrate theory, case studies, data interpretation, and practical examples.
  • Use interactive tools, multimedia presentations, and real-world datasets to strengthen conceptual understanding.
  • Design and evaluate assignments, projects, and examinations.

Student Engagement & Skill Development:

  • Foster economic reasoning, data analysis skills, and critical thinking among students.
  • Guide learners in interpreting economic data, preparing reports, and engaging in discussions on global and national economic issues.
  • Offer remedial classes and differentiated instruction to address varied learning needs.

Classroom Management & Inclusivity:

  • Maintain an inclusive, engaging, and disciplined learning environment.
  • Ensure that academic integrity and school policies are consistently upheld.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to cater to diverse cultural and learning backgrounds.

Parental Communication & Collaboration:

  • Regularly update parents on student progress and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings, academic exhibitions, and school events related to social sciences and commerce.

Professional Development & Compliance:

  • Keep up to date with CBSE curriculum updates, board examination patterns, and KHDA guidelines.
  • Attend professional development sessions and contribute to collaborative initiatives within the humanities and commerce faculty.
