Editing Interns

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Film Interns to join our dynamic team. This is an unpaid 90-day internship that offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in film production, assisting with various stages of filmmaking from pre-production to post-production, and even editing! Interns will work closely with industry professionals, contributing to real projects and developing valuable skills in a creative environment. After 90 days, the intern will have the opportunity to transition into a paid position with our team, pending performance and organizational needs.

Positions

• Editor Assistant Intern
• Volunteer PA

Duties

• Assist with setting up equipment and preparing filming locations
• Support the production team during shoots, including managing props and assisting with lighting and sound
• Help coordinate schedules and manage production logistics
• Participate in editing sessions, learning editing software and techniques
• Conduct research related to film projects and assist with script development
• Perform administrative tasks such as organizing footage, maintaining production files, and scheduling meetings
• Observe and learn from experienced filmmakers about industry best practices and workflows
• Watching movies to be selected and uploaded to our streaming service.
• Assisting with event management
• Assisting our editor with tasks

Requirements

• Passion for film production and storytelling
• Strong interest in learning about all aspects of filmmaking
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of camera equipment, editing software, or related tools is a plus, but not required
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work flexible hours as needed
• Must be at least 18 years old or older
• Prior experience is not required; a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential

This internship provides a valuable platform for aspiring filmmakers to gain practical experience, build industry connections, and develop their craft in a professional setting. As well as a chance for multiple IMBD credit opportunities.
